Air Padre Kiteboarding recently took a break from its kitesurfing on South Padre Island, Texas and visited the British Virgin Islands (BVIs) to do some snorkeling when there was no wind. The underwater video was shot with a GoPro HD Surf Hero camera, which works fantastically for filming marine life in the ocean. The water proof housing makes the GoPro HD a great snorkeling camera we found!
A boring 4 minute video of our Cape Air flight in a Cessna 402C from San Juan, Puerto Rico (Airport Code: SJU) to Beef Island (Airport Code: EIS) in the British Virgin Islands. In reality the little puddle jump takes about 45 minutes. The person seen to the left of the pilot is *NOT* a co-pilot, it is a passenger like myself. No locked cockpit doors here! If we don't like how the pilot is flying we can lean forward and smack him across the back of the head. :-) Luckily he did a fine job this day. All flights in and out of the British Virgin Islands from the USA go through San Juan, Puerto Rico (Airport Code: SJU). Here is a Google Map of some of these locations: http://g.co/maps/hek54 More info about our trip at: http://www.ski-epic.com/2012_caribbean_british_virgin_islands/index...
